Much appreciated for you making this video. I saw an black aluminum shield on Amazon. Now I am interested which grade they used. The sellers it's getting back to me. But their sir/ma'am it's perhaps 6000 and up. Still I want to take pride owning it. Just like Japanese knifes.

In your opinion what would be the best steel to use on a manual engraving machine for hard metals like brass, as the cutter would be rotating about 20,000 rpm So heat and sharpness and temp of steel would need to be a factor, but if you were to go with a type what would be your preference, I see tungsten carbine, or HSS etc also looking for something I can resharpen when a bit dull

So glad I discovered you guys! I called 4 stores before you and I was laughed at by those other suppliers for wanting to order less than 21 feet of 8 inch steel pipe. I am a professional engineer that works in heavy civil construction and I'm very familiar with large quantities of steel. Most other suppliers make you feel like you're wasting their time because they are only interested in how many pounds of steel they can sell.There is a large and growing group of hobbyists and professionals who need small quantities of steel that can fit in their personal vehicles. Metal Supermarkets are poised to get that business and mine in the future.

Haven't even started the video yet. #1 gold #2 silver #3 copper #4 iron #5 aluminum. Well i watched it, and i don't believe it. So how does something conduct MORE than 100%? And iron is only 17%? Bull$hit. You do realize the ENTIRE negative pole of a car, is the frame. The steel frame. All of it. Every ground in a car, is connected to the frame, and its "only" 17% efficient? Absolute bull$hit.
At the risk of stating the obvious... and I'm not trying to be a jerk. (0:54) The explanation of the '1' for the addition of chromium in 4140... The speaker said it's up to 1.01% (one point one percent)... When he should have stated it's 1.10% (one point ten percent). The video shows the 1.10%.
